Dream Tank launches innovative new Boulder summer camps.
Entrepreneurial. Design-thinking. Blockchain. Accelerator. At first glance, parents might confuse the schedule of Dream Tank with the Boulder Startup Week itinerary. But every Dream Tank camp is designed for kids and teens ages 8-19 to creatively rise to their potential, follow their dreams and share their ideas to shape the future.
- Sustainable Food and Climate Action Camp
June 17 – 21
Ages 8 – 16
If you have a child that loves food, nature, and protecting our planet, this accelerator week is for them! Kids and teens will be invited to explore how their passion and interest can be turned into a business that addresses one of the Sustainable Development goals.
- Art + Technology Camp
June 24 – 28
Ages 11 – 19
If your child has a love for visual art, theater arts, music, film/photography, crafts, life hacks, and inventions, this accelerator is for them. They will learn how to take their love of art and make money selling products for a purpose.
- Blockchain + Technology Camp
July 8 – 12
Ages 11 – 19
If your child has a love for tech, gaming and care about the world, this accelerator is for them. We will explore the use of tech in all aspects, including gaming and blockchain, to come up with solutions to your child’s choice of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
- The Future of Boulder Camp
August 5 – 9
Ages 8 – 16
If you see Boulder as a city of innovation, consciousness and open space, yet know there is still a way to go to truly become a city that has fully addressed poverty, diversity, sustainability, clean energy and more, this is a great accelerator to introduce that to your child. We will look at what a privilege it is living in a city this rich with resources, education, and access to tech, and come up with a business idea that helps Boulder solve the SDGs.
Here’s what parents are saying…
“Thank you for the passionate and amazing gifts you shared with all of those kids. My daughter love, love, loved it. She is feeling nourished and successful at bringing herself even more out and into the world.”
“This was only our first experience with this type of workshop, and when I asked (my son) if he would like to do it again he said YES. I am sure this approach that you offer… of empowerment for our children and their ideas was inspiring for the children and the parents. In my parenting I am very uplifting and encouraging of his input, but this was at another level.”
